What if my group gets too loud?

Loud is fine. Disruptive (fighting, property damage, abusive language at crew) is not. The skipper will give you one warning, then they can ask your group to settle or end the charter. Stay fun but respectful of others’ safety, and you’ll be golden.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Yes, BYO alcohol is permitted. Bring beer, wine, spirits, champagne — whatever you want. Tiger Catamarans provides no bar, no minimums. Just remember: the skipper can refuse to leave the wharf if anyone is already too intoxicated. Pace yourselves for a full 4-hour party.

What time do we arrive at the wharf?

Arrive 15 minutes before your charter time. Your skipper will be at your assigned wharf

Are there banned items on the boat?

Glass bottles are typically not allowed (safety risk). Cans and plastic bottles are fine. No weapons, fireworks, or illegal drugs under any circumstances. Check your booking confirmation for the full list.

What if someone gets seasick?

Sydney Harbour is usually calm, but it can happen. Bring seasickness tablets or patches. The crew has a designated area (usually the rear) where anyone feeling unwell can go. The skipper won’t judge — it’s part of the job. Eat a light meal before boarding and stay hydrated.

Can the skipper ask us to leave?

Yes. If your group becomes abusive, unsafe, or refuses to follow basic rules, the skipper can return to the wharf and end the charter. No refund in this case. It’s rare because bucks parties are smart — they know the deposit is on the line. The skipper wants your money and your 5-star review. Don’t give them a reason to cancel.

Do we need to cancel 21 days in advance to get our deposit back?

Yes — 21+ days before your charter date, you get 100% of your deposit back (minus any minor admin fees). Between 14–21 days, it’s 50%. Less than 14 days, you forfeit the deposit. If you’re unsure of your date, book later or ask Tiger Catamarans about flexible hold options.
